This is the free open-source version of Group-Office. It's intended for Open-Source programmers who want to contribute to the project. Get it from Sourceforge.net

It's distributed under the terms of the Affero General Public License (AGPL). If you don't want to be restricted by the AGPL license, you can offer a customized version of the Professional version to your customers.

For some mobile devices or software you need an additional SyncML client to communicate with the Group-Office synchronization server. Intermesh does not create client software, all the clients are made by other companies. You only need the client software, not the server.

 

The following devices and software are known to work:

• Nokia, Sony Ericsson with Symbian OS (SyncML client is built in)
• Windows Mobile/Pocket PC (Funambol or Synthesis client required)
• Blackberry (Funambol client)
• Palm OS (Synthesis client)
• Outlook (Funambol or Nexthaus client)
• Thunderbird (Experimental! with Funambol client 0.7, there are known issues with this client)
