Why is the support for so many modules dropped?

Modules like phpbb, Wordpress, CMS, formprocessor....

??? :shock:

We will bring them back in a different module store. We are building so many of these modules that it is hard to support them all under the standard pro license. So we will create a community Module Store where everybody can share their custom modules. But they are on a "Use at own risk" basis.

Mmmh, should'n there be at least the modules, which were available before, as working modules supported by Intermesh?
It is like paying a maintenance fee and getting less features every year.... :(

There's no less features. We've developed a lot of new stuff in 4.0!

It's just that these modules like Wordpress, phpbb etc. are hard to support because they rely on other software that changes all the time. We will be happy to support you with that but we may need to charge a little extra. It can be very time consuming to make a phpbb or wordpress bridge work on various hosting platforms.
