how can we show other detail of user in "send to" field

i had a requirement under composing mail box.
in "send to" field when we enter name/email-id a popup menu show matching name/email-d to select.i need some more field to be shown like
"department"Function"..in popup menu . so that if we have similar person name in company, this filed are also show to make easier in choosing name.
i am attaching image.kindly tell me how can i customize it according to company need.
