Upload attachment and files

Postby jonash » Thu Aug 16, 2012 2:17 pm

Hi,
I have installed GO Version: 4.0.51 on a Redhat box.

When I try to upload an attachement to a mail, or a file to the "file container" I get the error "Failed". It looks like the file is uploaded, the percentage goes from 0 to 100% but then is says "failed" and nothing more.
I set debug to true, but there were no more info about it.

The file_storage_path is owned by the apache user and all dirs are writeable. I added a file directly from Linuix in "my" directory, ...protect/user/jonas. I was then able to delete it from GO, so something is correct.

Any hints on this?

Regards
Jonas

When you try to upload files to your personal file area in the file module, you can use two upload methods. "Small files" and "Large files/folders (Java required)". Does it fail on both methods, or do one of them work?

Hi,
It works when I uses the "Large file/Java method", but not with "small files" method. I also tested with different sizes, but only the java verision works.

Does "Small files" fail when used from different browsers / computers?

The "Small files" function uses different methods of upload based on user agent. From HTML5, Flash etc.
