[GO 3.2.48] Spell Check Aspell/PSpell

I am having problems with the spellchecker, keeps coming up with the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/groupo/language/common/en.inc.php on line 5

Ext.decode exception occurred

we are using the latest version, it used to work before a prior upgrade, any help would be appreciated...

You have register_globals enabled. This causes this error. This is also pointed out on the installation checks.
