Email : IMAP account won't work

Hi all.
I update my community 2.18 edition to the new 3.0.
All good, still testing.
First problem:

IMAP email

I have configured many imap accounts that work without problems in 2.18 rel.
Now, those are all in error.
If i try to edit the account properties, i must set new fields related to outgoing mail.
Once set that, account still not work.

Error is:
"Could not connect to imap.gmail.com at port 993

The mail server returned:
"
That's all.
Same error for the other accounts.
I try also to create a new account using a gmail account - here i'm sure that imap/smtp server and user/password are correct.

Error log enabled in my apache server, but no errors logged.

Any tips?

There was a mistake in 3.00-stable-2. IMAP accounts don't work on most systems. Try 3.00-stable-3 released just hours ago.

3.00-stable-3 solved my problem.
Obviously I've downloaded the 3.00-stable-2 few minutes before you release the new stable one
