Lookup from BTW-number

From the address book we can click on an adress to look it up in Google Maps.

We can also click on a phone number to open a phone app and call the number.

Click on their URL and their web site opens.

It would be very neat if it was possible to do something similar for the field VAT-number (BTW-Nummer in Dutch). The service would be different for each country, and possible for different users within the country, so the administrator should be able to enter the URL needed.

In Norway, for example i would use the URL: http://www.proff.no/proff/search/categoryList.c?freeText=957485030 to look up a company that has the VAT number 957485030.

This would give me access to lots of info on the company, like financial reports for several years etc. all free for the users. There is probably similar services in other countries so adding this would be valuable not only to us vikings up north....

Sounds interesting. I think some kind of customizable lookup function should be possible for all fields. I'm going to think about such a function.
