MySQL-err: Insert Invalid Row when entering new company

When I try to add new contact or to modify an existing one by entering a company (the company list is currently empty), the following error occurs when trying to save:

An error occurred on the webserver. Contact your system administrator and supply the detailed error.

What can I do to repair this issue?

Do you have register_globals enabled?

register_globals are enabled (Ein = on / Aus = off).

You shouldn't enable that. When it's disabled it will probably fix your problem.
