Every business has different needs for their data. That's why all objects in Group-Office can be extended with a wide variety of custom fields. Custom fields are also searchable.

Custom fields are organized in categories. Each category will become a tab in the edit dialog and you can set access permissions per category. Check out the screenshot below that shows the edit dialog with all the custom field types available.

Custom fields are also viewable in the grids. You can enable them by clicking the small arrow when hovering over the columns:
For a user to see the custom fields, make sure the user has access to the module "Custom fields" and to the custom field category at: Custom fields -> Manage categories -> Doubleclick category -> Permissions
