Re: JsonStore load exception error in Modules

Wow! I spent hours looking for clues last night after upgrading from 6.2.122 to 6.3.84 and kept getting that error in the debug log. I had no idea how to fix it. I will try this tonight, thank you James. If this works, this should be a pinned post or something. I only found this by way of a Google s...

Has Anyone Made 6.3 or 6.4 work on Windows Server?

Hello,

Are there any other Windows Server admins who have been able to update from 6.2 to 6.3 or 6.4 with complete success?

Deleting old events from Calendar ?

Hello, When we first stared using GO in 2012, it was almost exclusively for the calendar function. We have never deleted old stuff from the calendar. Would I be right in thinking that if we wanted to trim out old data, I can do so safely by deleting records from the table cal_events ? If I delete th...

Activity Log settings / Options ?

While the config.php has the means to enable a debugging log.. is there any setting to manage What the Activity Log module tracks? For example, to disregard certain kinds of actions like some stages of the Sync (or all Sync contact actions) ? In just 30 days with a small set of 65 users and 28 cell ...

Where is the ChangeLog file?

There seems to be no Group Office changelog file inside the download anymore?

I also use to be able to find it directly on the download site directory to view without having to download the whole thing.

Where do we find that now?

Re: Running CRON on Windows

Hi, I know this is an older post but it has important info for Windows server admins. I wanted to add more specific tips that are critical for this to work right. When you create the Task in Task Scheduler make sure you do the following for settings on the GENERAL tab: 1. Run Whether User is Logged ...

Re: Anyone running 6.3 on Windows ?

I believe there is BUG in the upgrade design. Looking at the long list of changes the process undertakes and outputs on screen, it RENAMES the go_model_types table to core_entity way early on. Then near the end (or the end of what I see) it is trying to insert data into the old name, which obviously...

Re: Anyone running 6.3 on Windows ?

First snag in trying to upgrade from 6.2.101 to 6.3.32 (and yes, Search and Custom Fields modules were installed on the 6.2 we had running) I did a bunch of reading, backups, prep.. and just ran the /install folder. The first time i ran it, it presented a long list of table modifications and ended w...

Anyone running 6.3 on Windows ?

Is anyone running GO 6.3 on a windows server yet? We have been using GO under Server 2008r2 for years, and currently running the latest 6.2 It sounds like 6.3 (from the system requirements at https://groupoffice.readthedocs.io/en/latest/install.html#system-requirements ) is only going to work in Lin...

Re: FATAL Php Error out of memory

We may be good.. It seems, and I recall seeing mention of it before, that PHP 7.1 has stupid issues with thread safe. I recall seeing a few times as we were planning our upgrade from 5.6 that people said to just go to 7.2 and that is what we did. Last night I then had to go backwards because GO only...

FATAL Php Error out of memory

Please help - after last night's upgrade, things seemed fine at 3am. I woke this morning to a complete nightmare - the pphp error log fills with errors about fatal memory error PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 8388608) (tried to allocate 32768 bytes) in php.ini was even increased to 1024M f...
