Re: New interface

Thanks for the info. I think this is a good decision to maintain GroupOffice 6 with ExtJs and to drop the big challenge with AngularJS. It's interesting that you will take use of JMAP. I can't see any clients on the horizon for this technology however.

Re: New interface

We're using GO as a crm. Your posting shows that GO has actually evolved to a "Jack of all trades". It tries hard to fulfill many needs, but it lacks to be a master of one. E. g. you may use it as a file hosting service too, like ownCloud, but you still have no client for Windows or Andro...

- Do you think push notifications are working with a web app which is not running?

Re: New interface

If you do not have access or if you are not permitted to use imap and/or synchronisation tools, then you are out of focus to use those native apps by smartphone. @fischli: Why should it be more secure to access your mailbox through https instead of imaps in a corporate environment? What is the reas...

Re: New interface

What I am wondering is: Why do the proponents of pure html5 do not take part in this discussion? The majority is for html5, but they do not provide any arguments! Anyway, I can speak for our university. 500 people are working with GO and I see no need for a hybrid app which runs on smartphones. If I...
