Re: Windows 2000 and Transfer Agent?

Hello, I had the exact same problem, but on a Windows XP host ; still it might be worth checking out if what we did helps. It turns out the problem was due to the browser proxy settings set to "automatically detect". We switched it to force no proxy ("hardcode" your proxy if you're using one of cour...

Re: No invitation sent

Hello,

This is not a problem with Group-Office, but a limitation of your hosting provider.
550 Daily recipients limit reached
You have reached the maximum number of emails you're allowed to send each day. I think your best bet is to ask them to raise this limit.

Re: Cannot Upload .xcf Files

The java applet will send large files in chunks of 1MB. So no change in php.ini is required! In theory yes, but unless I'm mistaken, the jupload applet is called with a max allowed filesize set to the GO max_file_size setting which is set at install time with ini_get('upload_max_filesize') . You're...

Re: Adding a script

Hello,

Add the relative path to your script in one of the "scripts.txt" files, and run minify to regenerate the scripts.

#EDIT : More infos on minify here.

Re: Cannot Upload .xcf Files

My hosting company uses custom php.ini files in the public_html directory on down when necessary to override the default/main php settings for every user on the server Ok, I understand. GroupOffice is installed at public_html/groupoffice so would I only need my custom php.ini file in the public_htm...

Re: Cannot Upload .xcf Files

have a php.ini (in both my public_html and groupoffice directories) This won't help. The php.ini file is usually not in a public web directory. For a GNU/Linux or UNIX host, you might need an SSH account to edit it (or an administration front-end like webmin or plesk). In which directories do I nee...

Re: Cannot Upload .xcf Files

Hello,

The maximum file size allowed for upload is set by PHP. The current max size for your server is visible in the log :
06:10:45.753 [INFO] maxFileSize: 2097152
To change this limit, you need to edit the PHP settings ; usually by changing the upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

Re: Remove contact fields

I changed diffrent things but nothing changes...
It's likely you didn't minify the scripts, or don't run GroupOffice in debug mode. Please see this thread for a possible explanation :

Re: Help to test a change of field.

The script you've just modified is only used when debugging, and as a form of "human-readable" script. You need to "minify" the script to see the change (or toogle GO to debug mode - see config.php). To minify, you need a script available on SourceForge : http://sourceforge.net/projects/group-office...

Re: Cannot find postfix file main.cf

Hello,

On Debian, the main.cf file is in : /etc/postfix/main.cf

(a template is usually available in /usr/share/postfix/main.cf.dist if the previous doesn't exists).

Re: Is the Community Version of GO is completely editable?

Hello, I did not find any reference to the ionCube loader in the community version (except for the gotest of course), and ionCube loader is not required for the community version, so I think it's safe to assume everything is tweak-able according to the licence. Moreover, even in the professional ver...

Re: Opening a folder

It does indeed work (although I still think case sensitivity for dynamic language is a huge mistake... I lost half an hour trying to understand why setFolderId() doesn't work - setFolderID() does) :)

Thanks for your help.

Opening a folder

Hello, I'm trying to add links to directly jump to a specific folder within the files manager module (the ultimate goal being the possibility to link to a specific folder from an URL). Making a JS call to GO.files.openFolder(0, xxx) works, but open a "popup" with the folder content. Is there a way t...

Re: How secure is Group Office on a hosting solution?

Should I also put this .htaccess file into the local folder?
No, this folder contains cached data and needs to be directly accessible.

Re: How secure is Group Office on a hosting solution?

Is GO able to write in this folder using the commands above? To the best of my knowledge yes. .htaccess files are mainly used to fine tune access rules for Apache. PHP does not depends on Apache for accessing (local) files. Does it make sense to create another htaccess file in the root of the insta...
