Desire HD, z-push2 and forwarding mail

Hi. Here comes another very specific error that I have hard time debugging. I've got two reports from users that can't forward mail properly. When they do, the contents of the original mail and also any attached files disappears, so the forwarded mail ends up like this: ----- Forwarded message -----...

Re: z-push2 LOGFILEDIR

The cli tools from z-push don't know where to find the GO config file. There's a hack for this. Put: define("GO_CONFIG_FILE", "/path/to/config.php"); on top of the z-push-top.php file. Thanks! That tool could come in handy. I also found out why it worked on one web host. Someone had for some reason...

Re: Memory errors

It happens in the function that fetches a mail message. Iphones like to request the entire mail message at once. Do you happen to have a 100MB message in your mailbox? No, I've now checked the mailboxes of some users whose names occur in these messages and I didn't find any message larger than 30MB...

Re: Z-push, Samsung and character encoding

Check logs at: /home/groupoffice/log/error.log /home/groupoffice/log/z-push/z-push-error.log They tell more then apache logs. Ok, I compared logs a bit more. It seems this happens every time a stupid user tries to send a mail to an address that is completely wrong (like in not having any @ at all o...

z-push2 LOGFILEDIR

Hi. I found the nice z-push-top last week, which is kinda good for debugging. Today I noticed something very strange though. z-push-top only works on one of my web hosts. When trying to run it on the others I get: root@go-web05:/san/www/modules/z-push2# php z-push-top.php PHP Warning: mkdir(): No su...

Memory errors

Hi. Just noticed I get lots of these lines in my Apache error.log: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 60912997 bytes) in /san/www4_1_54/go/base/mail/Imap.php on line 1969 No idea if it's anything to care about, but since it says it fatal I guess it m...

Re: Z-push, Samsung and character encoding

You have nice activesync userbase. Please bombard Intermesh with error logs connected to z-push2, you are probably best to debug it. :) Yes, now that you mention it... I get loads and loads of these: [Mon Apr 15 07:40:03 2013] [error] [client x.x.x.x] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: success in /san...

I know this is only beta, it's all right :D

I'd like to say though, that for being beta it's very good. Seems to work allright for the rest of our users. Thumbs up!

Re: Z-push, Samsung and character encoding

A new problem here. It has nothing with Samsung to do, but with Z-push and character encoding, so I'll just continue in the existing thread. We've discovered that z-push 2 and GO doesn't work very well with Windows Phone 8. Firstly the phone talks Activesync 2.5 to the server. We've tried removing t...

Re: Z-push, Samsung and character encoding

I'd just like to note that we've now upgraded our production GO environment to 4.1.54 and Zpush2 and this problem doesn't seem to be any problem at all. So I guess this is something that might have been a problem in earlier versions (like 4.1.43) but that's now fixed. The phones doesn't understand t...

Wider comment column in zpushadmin

Hi. I had a tiny tiny issue that I've solved. I couldn't see the entire comment in the comment column in zpushadmin, it was cut down to 20 characters. I raised maxLength in modules/zpushadmin/views/Extjs3/DevicesGrid.js to 100 instead, now it looks much better. Could this be done upstreams as well o...

Re: Z-push, Samsung and character encoding

Just like to note that we are upgrading our production environment to GO 4.1.56 and z-push 2 this week. Since I haven't got any good feedback on how to reach out to my users I wrote a little command myself. Just in case anyone else needs it: After people start syncing their devices using z-push 2 th...

Re: Accepting invitations

Yes, I still think my points A and B should be fixed ... Yes, but A is (at least partially) fixed, since obviously the links ARE already hidden if you just send the invitation to the user and not the contact. As for B, it really sounds like something that should be easy for Intermesh to fix. Right,...

Intermesh wrote:I'll give this some more thought. Perhaps we can make sure the user is always found first and hide the contact if there was already a user hit?
Yes, I think actually this will solve most of our problems.

I don't know about Eagle though, some of the points you mention still remains, right?
