Calendar event copy

Talk about anything that doesn't fit in the other catagories :) (and of course is about Group-Office)

Calendar event copy

Postby gtuminauskas » Fri Aug 22, 2014 1:45 pm

Hi,

I am having a problem with the shared calendar, copying an event from one person's calendar to my calendar.
Permissions: group permission: read only

Problem occurs when looking at another person's calendar, and trying to copy that/any particular event to my calendar (right click -> copy (greyed out)). Though, if using the same right click/context menu and selecting "new"->"appointment", it allows to change the different user's calendar.

My question would be: is it possible to the same, with just right click and selecting "copy", to create the same event on logged in user's calendar?

Regards
Giedrius

Any response?

when I try to copy event from another person's calendar, where I have "write" permission, to my calendar, I get error:
---
Access denied 1 item(s) cannot be moved, you do not have the right permissions.
---

I can write into another persons calendar, but cannot copy? That is illogical
