I voted for yes because I like to see a ajax interface.
what I like about Extjs (I just see it the first time now) already is that you can hide the panes you have. Just like you can see in the "Complex Layout" example. Extremely handy for people that has a low screen resolution, like some of my clients still have
I am experimenting with another cms system which has built-in support for some ajax frameworks and it is quite nice.
these are the 2 ajax frameworks that are used in that cms:
MooTools - http://mootools.net/
Script.aculo.us - http://script.aculo.us/
I think that the manager of the cms itself is a bit of ajax too, you can find the cms at http://www.modxcms.com
. You can also see that it has a very clean GUI, while it still has a lot of options.
I can maybe help you with designing new gui's/layouts if you want to go "ajax". Maybe we should talk about it (both the ajax and cms things) over msn (I never see you online anymore these days?).
Do you have a demo of that new notes module? I like to see it.
