pgp encryption problem

Talk about anything that doesn't fit in the other catagories :) (and of course is about Group-Office)

pgp encryption problem

Postby groupx » Wed Jan 26, 2011 4:25 pm

We want to use pgp encryption, but I cannot get it to work:

1.
can't connect to `/data/groupoffice/users/<username>/.gnupg/S.gpg-agent': No such file or directory gpg: encrypted with 2048-bit ELG key, ID AF2EEC60, created 2011-01-26 "<real name> (GroupOffice) " gpg: public key decryption failed: Bad passphrase gpg: decryption failed: No secret key

I cannot find a documentation about how to configure pgp vor groupoffice. Can anyone direct me to the right docu?

2.
Groupoffice just encrypts the mail inline and does not use mime-encoding. Can I change this?

thanks in advance
j.

Is the directory writable for apache?

Can you generate a key pair?

Yes, the keypair is generated and I can see it on the filesystem and use it via GroupOffice (Sending)

The error messages pops up, when I try to decript a mail.

I've no idea where this error comes from. To figure that out we would need to do some research on your server. If you have the pro version we'll do that for free. Otherwise we have an hourly rate. Can you contact us in the support system if you want this?

Is there any documentation how to activate PGP encryption with GroupOffice?
Where should users put their keys?

Sorry, PGP is not supported. Only SMIME.
