Holidays in Calendar

Postby webwolfi » Thu Feb 17, 2011 3:26 pm

Since one of the last updates i have GERMAN holidays in my calendar and I can't remove them. But I am AUSTRIAN.

All these holidays, when synced with iPhone cause an alarm at midnight...

where can I manage the holidays in GO?

I found this. Austrian holidays are set correctly in tis file ("de-at").

But how do i get GO to replace German holidays with Austrian ones in the calendars?

Oops, this is a bug. It always uses the language as input. I will fix this.

Hello,

I have just set up GO for my friend who lives in Hong Kong. She uses English/British as her language. I would be grateful if someone could show me how to set up Hong Kong holidays in GO. A pointer to the relevant installation manual would suffice.

Thank you!
Cheers,
Cha

Holidays are defined in language/holidays.inc.php

hanks. I see that a few holidays are already defined for English (EN) in language/holidays.inc.php but they are not showing up in our calendars

Besides, quite a few of Hong Kong's holidays are based on the lunar calendar and therefore their dates change every year. How should I set them up in language/holidays.inc.php?
Cheers,
Cha

At the moment it only supports fixed dates and dates based on easter. Can you give me any hints about how the lunar calendar works?

Hi,

I have modified the holidays according to my language ['pl'], hovewer some strange things are happeningg while wieving the callendar. See the details below:

1. I have added one holiday just to check if it works (lets name the holiday xyz), then I reloaded the callendar and it looked that everything is fine
2. I have added the full list of holidays, however after reloading the callendar still only the `xyz` is visible
3. When I restored the original file holidays.inc.php the `xyz` disappeared - which was predictable, but after I have modified the file once again by adding different holiday `abc` on a completely different day, it did not show up, BUT the `xyz` is visible again. What is strange the `xyz` is not in the edited file at all!

What is going on?
