Show Birthday of Adressbook in Calender produces Failure

Talk about anything that doesn't fit in the other catagories :) (and of course is about Group-Office)

Show Birthday of Adressbook in Calender produces Failure

Postby khartmann » Sun Jul 31, 2011 11:34 pm

Hi,

I'm just looking about the problem, that the system (3.7.26) don't like to display birthdays of the adressbook in the calender. the database is just set up new and i imported the datas by csv-files. the permissions are given too.

if i follow other boards, sth is going wrong in some database-fields. the system-brought tools (database clearing etc) don't help.

may be s.o. knows a solution to this:

Hello KHartmann,

1) Could you copy-paste a piece of the original CSV with one of those birthday records in it?
2) Did any event import succesfully from the CSV into GO?
Kind regards,

Hello Wilmar,

1)
I exported the data with GO 2.18 in a CSV-File, seperated by ";" and the values in "".

The date seperator ist a "." in GO 3.7 for Germany in displaying dates. When I have a look into the records, the birthday is displayed correctly.

Fields of the csv-file:
"Titel";"Vorname";"2. Vorname";"Nachname";"Initialen";"Geschlecht";"Geburtstag";"E-Mail";"Land";"Bundesland";"Stadt";"Postleitzahl";"Straße";"Hausnummer";"Telefon";"Telefon berufl.";"Fax";"Fax berufl.";"Mobil";"Firma";"Abteilung";"Funktion";"Kommentar";"Gruppe"

Example-Data, which caused the error.
"";"Prename";"";"Name";"";"M";"1977-09-08";"email@email.net";"";"";"";"";"";"";"+99-999-9999999";"";"";"";"";"";"";"";"Comment";""

Title ist the GO3.7 Database, Table ab_contacts
id link_id user_id addressbook_id source_id first_name middle_name last_name initials title sex birthday email email2 email3 company_id department function home_phone work_phone fax work_fax cellular country state city zip address address_no comment iso_address_format color sid ctime mtime salutation email_allowed files_folder_id

record of the GO 3.7. Database (copied from the printpreviem of phpmyadmin)
449 NULL 1 4 0 Prename Name M 1977-09-08 email@email.net 0 +99-999-9999999 Comment DE NULL NULL 1311805548 1311805548 1 584

2) I havent imported any datas into the calender.

Regards
Klaus
