How can a user change his GO account password?

Talk about anything that doesn't fit in the other catagories :) (and of course is about Group-Office)

How can a user change his GO account password?

Postby lumis » Fri Aug 12, 2011 7:24 pm

I am newbie with GroupOffice. This is maybe a too simple question.
However, I managed it to install GroupOffice on a hosted Webserver.
When I create GO users and give them user right, email access etc. everything works perfectly so far. No trouble at all beside one essential problem.
I thought that a user can change his own GO account password and expected this as tab under 'Settings' link
All that appears is: Regional Settings| Look & Feel | Profile | E-mail | Calendar and Tasks
What do I do wrong? Even as an administrator there is no way on the user interface to change an GO account password.
Well, beside doing this directly in the MySQL database I guess.
I am not sure what additional information I have to provide because this seems to be too simple to be a question for a developer.
Please forgive if information is missing. Will provide more if necessary.

Thanks for any support,

Lumis

Run the installer again. There you can select "Allow password change" at some point.
