Sync with Mac

Talk about anything that doesn't fit in the other catagories :) (and of course is about Group-Office)

Sync with Mac

Postby webwolfi » Tue Aug 16, 2011 10:39 am

is there a possibility to sync with a Mac? (it should be, due to the fact the number of Mac users is growing)

as far as i know there is no active sync support for mac at the moment. Trying MS Exchange settings didn't work for me, maybe someone has other experiences.

There is a syncML client for Mac by Nexthouse for calendar, addressbook and task:
http://nexthaus.com/products_b_mac.html
But i don't know the settings for Nexthose clients.

So:
1) is there a way to get Mac's MS Exchange support working with GO "active sync"?
2) does the Nexthouse client work with GO and what are the settings for it?
3) is there any other solution?

thx, Wolfgang

Sorry, at the moment only caldav works. We will be implementing carddav too soon. Then you Can use caldav + carddav + IMAP.

i testet syncJE for Mac http://nexthaus.com/products_b_mac.html

it works fine one way (server to mac) but not the other way round. there are some bugs with recurring events but i think it's worth to have a look on it. Maybe it's not really much work to fix the problems and make it a working tool.

Wolfgang

EDIT: it didn't work before but it started working the way described with the update to 3.5.27. maybe this helps
