MyISAM -> InnoDB

Talk about anything that doesn't fit in the other catagories :) (and of course is about Group-Office)

MyISAM -> InnoDB

Postby DanielMalmgren » Thu Sep 06, 2012 12:44 pm

Hi.
Has anyone here tried converting the GroupOffice database to InnoDB? We're looking into good ways to take backup of the database and it would be much easier if it was InnoDB. Don't know exactly what we could break by converting it though, and we suspect there is some reason for it being MyISAM default?

Replying to myself. I've tried now. Not a good idea. Now I can't send any mail from my GO. Good thing to have a test environment, right :D

At the moment we use myisam. We will be looking into converting to innodb later.
