We're using GO as a crm.

Your posting shows that GO has actually evolved to a "Jack of all trades". It tries hard to fulfill many needs, but it lacks to be a master of one. E. g. you may use it as a file hosting service too, like ownCloud, but you still have no client for Windows or Android.

But what is the goal of GO then, than to be a CRM? When we was evaluating and starting with groupoffice (Version 2), then it was clear, that GO can be used as a crm. Focus was then on: Email, Adressbook, Calendar and Projects and Files (pro Version). All of this was pretty good. To have a invoice module is so difficult, since every country has it's specific function for payment, tax, currencies and other software for bookkeeping/accounting and so on. It will never fullfill our specific needs in that.

But now, I see more a focus on invoicing, debitors than on projects. Is this right respectively can you confirm that?

What happened to the ability to see other people's calendars?
In the demo, there is no list of Calendars or group Views.
And I see no option to change the layout (for email viewing for example - to list folders on left, messages on top, message body below message list on bottom).

Thanks for the info. I think this is a good decision to maintain GroupOffice 6 with ExtJs and to drop the big challenge with AngularJS. It's interesting that you will take use of JMAP. I can't see any clients on the horizon for this technology however.

It's true that there are no clients on the horizon. But nevertheless it's a great protocol for the client server communication.
