Postby mschering » Wed Nov 01, 2006 2:07 pm

It's finally there!

This version has an improved linking interface and in the Professional version it's also possible to store e-mail as files and link them to contacts, companies or projects.
There's also a new gallery module which you can also put on webpages using the CMS.
The built in SyncML server was improved and supports latest Symbian phones now.

Changelog:

-Disable user fields in admin mode
-Create pulldown menu's in custom fields. (Professional version)
-Custom fields for users (Professional version)
-Configure welcome e-mail on user registration
-Notify admin on user sign up
-Disable/enable fields for registration
-Book overlapping times in projects module
-Improved installer
-Compatible with register_globals=on

That's cool!

Two questions:

- Is the Billing Module now a part of the 2.16 or an extra module?
- Is it possible to transfer working hours from a project to the billing module and generate an invoice?
- Are all Nokia related problems solved?

My very personal opinion is, that i don't like the new windows after clicking "creating a link". Because in the default theme the GUI is structured horizontal. This new windows is aligned vertical. For the Look and Feel it would be better to position these icons vertical in a top bar ... maybe. Just my opinion ...

I released a 2.16-2 package today that fixes all known bugs. Upgrading is recommended.

You can generate it with your support contact option. Then you can upgrade it at once.

I know it's interesting but I need to think about how to implement this with the licensing. It's easy to create a package that will only allow one user to sync.
But what if somebody wants a second one, and later a 3rd.
At the moment this option is not available.

So the current situation is the one of GO-Pro where every user
has access to Syncml features?

I would be very interested in this package. I don't need the 2nd or the 3rd licence !
and it would be a great test platform before buying the Pro-Version. I don't host my GO by myself and i won't be sure of the syncml server compatibility with my hoster before testing...

Postby brofita » Tue Sep 02, 2008 11:57 am

Hi,
Is it possible to download the trial version of GO 2.x ? I have installed the community version but I would like to test the synchronization.
