Groupoffice installation using free version

Postby paul muchira » Tue Nov 13, 2012 8:35 am

I am trying to install groupoffice on localhost and with all configurations done im still not been able to install.
Firstly i am able to get into this url localhost/groupoffice/install with the following warning:-

Warning: No pspell extension for PHP found. The spellchecker in the e-mail composer won't work.

Warning: libwbxml2 is not installed. Synchronization will not work!

Warning: Ioncube is not installed. The professional version will not run.

Warning: APC is not present. You will get better performance with this extension.
I still could continue with the installation following the on screen instructions but when i got to the last installation part i get blank screen with url http://localhost/groupoffice/install/configFile.php.

Your kind assistance will be highly appreciated

Try to look at your server error logs. See if you can find fatal php errors.

Hi,

Based on the instruction here it should work depending on which AMP you use. http://code.stephenmorley.org/php/enabl ... n-windows/

Personally I have no tried it but the instruction seem simply enough. I didn't felt like install Aspell and hopefully my Internet Browser dictionary work rather than relying on Aspell which is a dead project from the look of it.
