Add external calendar (Caldav)

Postby michaeled » Fri May 30, 2014 10:36 am

Is there any possibility to make GO behave like CALDAV client ? And so, allow a user to add a remote calendar like Google, Zimbra or something else ?

(or at worst maybe with a crontab script to sync ical ? )

Zimbra can do that as explained here: ... ingle=true

yep, i need quite the same thing

sync GO with an other calendar (maybe another GO installation) or a caldav device

- maybe with the possibilty to mark the events synced as "private"

so that my company A employees can see that a certain time is blocked in my calendar when i have an event in Job B (the one with the synced calendar)

This wish is pending since many years, see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4070&p=33443&hilit=cronjob#p33443

A cronjob could be a quick&dirty solution at least to re-import a foreign calendar every hour or so.

Yes but if it's just importing an ics calendar, it's only in one way. If you make some modifications they will not be sent to the remote calendar...

Yes, that would be really useful.
Both, a full possibility to integrate a CalDAV calendar with read/write capabilities.
And also a possibility to subscribe to an external calendar too, which integrates in a way, that other users see if the user is unavailable due to an subscription calendar event.
