FireGPG is an extension for Firefox which allows to use a locally installed GPG to encrypt/decrypt messages in the browser. There is already support for GMail, RoundCube and Horde in FireGPG, but since GO is so much better in so many aspects I'd love to see it supported too. With FireGPG support, it would not be necessary to transmit or even store the private key on a central server, which is not best security practise IMHO (at least for individual users; for deployments in a large organization I understand that a central key storage has certain advantages).
Ideally, GO could make use of the FireGPG API, thus allowing further processing of encrypted data (like encrypted meeting requests). Alternatively, there could be support added in FireGPG only, like with GMail, but then of course GO wouldn't "see" the decrypted content so further processing would not be possible.
Anyway, being able to read GPG-encrypted mail in GO the one way or another would be a great feature, IMHO.
