Task in projects en regular tasks

I don't get this. There are 2 types of tasks? One, the tasks that were there formerly and second the new tasks for projects? They are not the same?
So, when I make a regular task I have to link it to a project or something like that? Will it show up as a project task?
My problem is that tasks in projects are just that. But some tasks have activities. And some activities have fees. So how about that?

You're correct. Project tasks are a new kind of tasks. They are used for planning and time tracking of projects.

Good to know. Do I have to make a task new and again for every project even if it's the same task?
Again; some tasks have "sub tasks" which have there own fees. Is this possible?

It's possible to group task. But a fee is set on the project level.

My next question is; why are they both called task if they are not the same?

Because they are both tasks, I can't think of a better name ;)

One type of task is with time and related to projects and another type of task has none of that. Good programming dictates you can't use the same name if the description differs.

On another note. What if they are recurring "tasks"? Like, every wednesday, friday and sunday or something like that? Can I make a list of these "tasks" like the regular tasks?
