Weather forecast in webmail calendar

Postby lucanet » Fri Jun 13, 2014 2:16 pm

Hi, everyone

I just want to show Weather inside GO calendar using this ICS feed http://ical.wunderground.com/auto/ical/ ... ions/83746

Possible? Tried in many ways without success. If someone can try and tell me if you succeed, appreciate it.

Details: http://www.wunderground.com/blog/TravelinGene/ical

Thanks!

It does work well :) Just doesnt show icons with weather, etc. perhaps we could still have a feature to have weather in webmail such as Gmail and others have.

But it works adding new calendar, then adding online calendar URL. Just for some strange reason my location here the ICS is not well formatted, but others work.

Example http://ical.wunderground.com/auto/ical/FL/Miami.ics

Thanks.

wunderground is focusing on selling for relatively small free service to providers, etc to embed the feature. They dont guarantee the ICSs any longer.

Found other option webcal.fil, but doenst work 100% (get forecast for a few days then Id have to get a new URL).

Summarizing, too much work, its best if we can have weather built in as some other webmails do.

I added the feature request.

Thanks.

Guys,

webcal.fi trying to help asks this. Pls comment? Trying to solve the fact it doesnt import events recurrent, etc.

He asks:

Is there a way to do a subscription (some calendar applications only allow importing, not subscribing)?

If it does allow subscribing, is there a way to specify how often it should re-download the calendar file?

Thanks.
