Active Directory authentication

Postby ags67 » Mon Jun 08, 2015 1:52 pm

Hello!

I have installed group-office 6.1.37 on the Debian 7.8. I try to configure Group-Office to authenticate with MS Active Directory domain, MS Windows Server 2008 R2. But when I attempt to login with MS AD credentials I receive an error "Failed to bind to LDAP server with RDN: username"

My "config.php" fragment:

$config['ldap_host']='<DC address>';
$config['ldap_port']='389';
$config['ldap_user']='username';
$config['ldap_pass']='userpassword';
$config['ldap_basedn']='dc=domain,dc=ru';
$config['ldap_peopledn']='OU=Users,DC=domain,DC=ru';
$config['ldap_groupsdn']='OU=Users,DC=domain,DC=ru';
$config['ldap_tls']=false;
$config['ldap_auth_dont_update_profiles']=true;
$config['ldap_use_uid_with_email_domain']='';

Thank You

Hi,
Please check if something is not blocking connection. In my case it was selinux. Try to turn it off.

BR,
Adam
