Trying to change the logo

Postby miket5b7 » Wed Dec 02, 2015 12:10 pm

Trying to change the logo by updating the config.php file.

Not sure where I should place the code in the config.php file. I've tried placing it at the start of the file and at the bottom of the file, but when I save the file it breaks the website and makes the site render a WHITE SCREEN.

This is the code I'm trying to add:

$config['product_name'] = "SAVANT Magazine";
$config['custom_css_url'] = "/magazine/branding/myCssFile.css" // Your root might be different. eg. /groupoffice/branding/...
$config['favicon']='/magazine/branding/favicon.ico';
$config['gota_icon_url']='http://full.url.to.magazine/branding/officelogo1.png';

This is what the config.php looks like after adding code:

$config["default_timezone"]='America/New_York';
$config["default_decimal_separator"]='.';
$config["default_thousands_separator"]=',';
$config["host"]='/';
$config["title"]='Group-Office';
$config["root_path"]='/home1/mrblaqne/public_html/magazine/';
$config["tmpdir"]='tmp/uploads/';
$config["db_host"]='localhost';
$config["db_user"]='mrblaqne_office';
$config["file_storage_path"]='/home/mrblaqne/public_html/magazine/pd/';
$config["default_country"]='US';
$config["default_currency"]='$';
$config["default_date_separator"]='/';
$config["default_time_format"]='h:i a';
$config["db_name"]='mrblaqne_office';
$config["db_pass"]='866256as';
$config["db_port"]='3306';
$config["register_user_groups"]='Internal';
$config["register_visible_user_groups"]='Internal';
$config["webmaster_email"]='mikeriley49x@gmail.com';
$config['product_name'] = "SAVANT Magazine";
$config['custom_css_url'] = "/magazine/branding/myCssFile.css" // Your root might be different. eg. /groupoffice/branding/...
$config['favicon']='/magazine/branding/favicon.ico';
$config['gota_icon_url']='http://full.url.to.magazine/branding/officelogo1.png';

Your help would be greatly appreciated..thank you :)

Because the above code has a syntax error. Check your error log for errors to find out the line.

This line has no ; at the end:

$config['custom_css_url'] = "/magazine/branding/myCssFile.css" // Your root might be different. eg. /groupoffice/branding/...

Firstly, make available the logo and I will look at it. A logo should specify what you expected to offer for your customers or visitors. Check here. You can see the logo is designed according to the service they offer and it is absolutely designed with perfection to denote the academic importance as well. I have shared with you for a reference and you can get some ideas in such a way that to help people to realize your creativity which lead to your services as well.
