Create a Hello World module

Postby ikayoo » Fri Apr 24, 2015 2:27 pm

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to create a simple module which would display a hello world. I have done it before, but now it isn't working anymore. I used the group-office documentation which explain how to create a module and I did the first part exactly how it is explained (creating an empty module). But I still have an error message when I'm going to 'Admin menu->modules' :
An error occurred on the webserver. Contact your system administrator and supply the detailed error.

JsonStore load exception occurred

I really need your help. I tried differents way but it never works.

Thank you.

As json store load exception typically means a PHP error occured. Check the response or error logs.

You are right,

The problem comes from the controller, the class name was already used as there was a presidents module preinstalled in the application.

So I changed the name of the class. I don't have the error message anymore but it's still impossible to create the new module.

The application is running but it's still always impossible to make appear a new bar in the module installation dialog

Thank you for your answer
