I'm working on a project where I attempt to integrate an existing application in GO3.
The application has it's own user database for authentication.
However, I want to centralize authentication for both apps in GO3.
I do this in the background, creating a sort-of single-signon experience for the user.
Up till now, I'm able to authenticate the entered username against the GO3 database.
The entered password is another story, because passwords in GO3 are stored encoded in the database.
So, in order to determine if the correct password is entered, I would minimally have to encode the
entered password the same way GO3 does, and then compare the encoded result with the stored
password in the user database. If they match, I have an authenticated user.
Question is, how is the user's password encoded in GO3?
"People, let's do it to them, before they do it to us!”
