Module: Webbased FTP

Postby molski » Sun Nov 04, 2007 12:33 am

All,

Created a module from the PHPWebFTP script.
Adjusted the stylesheet, gave it a GO look. There are still same issues with some filetypes (with downloading), but for most things it works fine.

Just copy the content of the package to the root directory of your GO Installation and install the module.

Right now the package supports dutch and english (based on the language set in GO).

Only changed some files, stylesheet and images, all other credits go to the developers, http://www.phpwebftp.com/

Works nicely but maybe add an option to store the ftp settings in the database

Right now there is no database involved ;)

So implementing an option like that would be quite some work (I think....).

It really wouldn't take much you already have the hard part done for you.
I'm working on a couple other projects at the moment but if you are interested in looking at some basic code to make this happen you would only have to change a couple things.

Let me know and I can email you the necessary code to create/edit/delete the settings.

Hey looks great. Maybe I should set up a repository for contributed code at our server.

How to auto fill session variabel for disable login screen as described on config ?

Code: Select all

/*
                disable login screen and POST login. For use inside hosting management
                systems, where you don't want the user to be able to do anything else
                than automagically being logged in to their own home directory.

                example code:

                $_SESSION["server"] = "ftp.example.net";
                $_SESSION["user"] = "joesixpack"
                $_SESSION["password"] = "joe66"
                $_SESSION["language"] = "en";
                $_SESSION["port"] = "21";
                $_SESSION["passive"] = false;

                header("Location: http://url/of/phpwebftp/index.php");
        */
thanks

You can try putting that in the config.php file.
