Multiple Selection with Checkboxes

Postby gtech » Mon Jun 11, 2012 12:05 am

We are trying to put a checkbox next to each e-mail messages in order to select more of them at once.
Right now we CAN do that if we use Ctrl+Click on each message but not with the checkboxes.

It's the same issue as described here:

http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthread. ... -selection

I am using the CheckBox selection model for a message grid.

I have turned on multiple selection. However, when i click on a checkbox it always deselcts the existing selection. I know that you can use ctrl and shift to select multiple but is there a way to select multiple rows without using the keyboard??

Is this possible at all ?

It's possible but we won't change it. It works with ctrl or shift everywhere in Group-Office which is more consistent.

Understood, but this is for a module we are building ourselves and are running into this problem.

Do you have any tips on how to work around this problem ?

I never build a grid with this selectionmodel. Perhaps you can find the answer on the Extjs forums?
