New module: Ticket Tracking System

Postby meirm » Sun May 02, 2004 12:51 pm

Hi there all of ya, :)
I just released on cvs a new module called opentts.
The code is a hack to my development under phpnuke.
I mean to redo it to be full complaint with GO.

The code needs a lot of work. There are some good parts and there are some temporary patches,
This First release was meanted to expose the idea for feedbacks and support.
Yours,
Meirm

Great work! But there's a class file missing that causes a fatal error. Could you add that file to cvs :D ? Thanks a lot!

it is called base/base.users.class.inc for base-functions and base/sql.users.class.inc or base/ldap.users.class.inc regarding your user management system.

CVS is much more modular than 2.04 here ;)

I get all page not found errors all links refer to "file" instead of "file.php". Can you fix that?

the location of these base classes has changed. they are in classes/base/ and it is called base.users.class.inc - but it should already be included from Group-Office.php so there is no need to include it manually in the module.

I am looking closly at Opentts module. Yes, it works on latest CVS. But, for some reason it is making GO super slow! GO gets hung up. When I try to logout sometimes it even says timeout. Our servers are super fast. Without using Opentts GO behaves exteremely fast! My GO Version is latest CVS. I keep everything up to date :D

Known bugs:
It the message contains characters like ' It gives error message. I think it is mysql issue.

I know it is not stable yet, but in the meantime I will report all the bugs that I encounter.

Regards,
Tim

We just discovered group-office and it is a great app. It will consolidate several of our web apps currently running. I noticed that there is a ticketing module, but seem sto be a little unstable. Wondering if it is stable now and is there a demo?

dear Go user.

please first try intall GO on your server . and play arround so you understand the idea about a group office.

Login as ADMINISTRATOR and go online GO = group office

if you had install the group office system you wil be aware the help desk system are inside same menu where you activate the many moduls under administrator MENU in top of right screen inside the administrator account
after this click on ADD/remove moduls - now you will see a ARMY of many modules you can install also help-desk.

after this remember to go and click PERMISSIONS so you 1) Authorized groups or 2) Authorized USERS only . if not noboddy of your members can see the module of help-desk . ok

enjoy a great products - hope this help

if you not have the "vertion 2.11.A" vertion you can download from here http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/grou ... z?download
