Some trouble with PDf

Postby bonscho » Wed Mar 04, 2009 4:52 pm

Hi there,

we are having some trouble get the billing-module working.
At first we had to symlink two classes because of mismatched filenames for the
addressbook- and files-classfiles. Those probs are solved.

Next problem is the not working TCPDF-Stuff. With the regular installation, we
got an missing font-definition-error for a font called vera. We created a kind
of definition (maybe correct). Next error is the following on. It is thrown when
we try to create a PDF in GoogleChrome:
Fehler 320 (net::ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE): Unbekannter Fehler.
Using Firefox a empty file named pdf.php is returned by the server.

Please give us a short note, about whats going on there.

I think your group-office and billing module mismatch. Please use the same versions. Best ius to upgrade both to stable-5.

Hi there again,

thanks for your reply. The trouble we had, was partially soluted by updating the billing-module.
The probs with the PDF-generation remains. The server waits for script-timeout and the process
dies with the following results.

GoogleChrome output
Fehler 320 (net::ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE): Unbekannter Fehler.

Firefox behaves
Just putting out the pdf.php-file with a size of 0 bytes.

Sorry, bur need a fast solution for this prob.

Thanks, Bonscho.

Sorry, but there is no access to server possible.
Logfiles provide the following information:

access.log
Nothing

error.log
[Tue Mar 10 09:32:34 2009] [notice] child pid 3230 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Logging is enabled in the GO-config ($config['log']=true;)

The Log-output is created by clicking the Books->Actions->PDF.

Hoping for some help, Martin.

Please contact your hosting provider in that case and find out why apache crashes.
