Billing Module Customising

Postby bonscho » Tue Mar 10, 2009 11:34 am

Sorry, but we need some information again. We are trying to rebuild our former billing-process
as well as possible, so here are our questions:

  • What are the book-properties Order-CSV-Template and Article-CSV-Template for and wich fields are available?
  • What means the Call-After-Days property?
  • Wich fields (templating-vars) are available for the book-email-template?
  • Is it possible to use the standard-mail-signature for the book-emails?
  • Is it possible to use different PDF-templates for send via mail and generating a pdf?

Thanks for your answers and excuse us, submitting so much questions, but we didn´t find these infos
neither in the forum nor in the wiki.

* What are the book-properties Order-CSV-Template and Article-CSV-Template for and wich fields are available?
They are used when you export to CSV. All the fields available are present there by default.

* What means the Call-After-Days property?
When you set this value Group-Office will schedule a call after you create a quote for example.

* Wich fields (templating-vars) are available for the book-email-template?
All the vars are inserted by default

* Is it possible to use the standard-mail-signature for the book-emails?
No, it has it's own signature system per status.

* Is it possible to use different PDF-templates for send via mail and generating a pdf?
Yes, this is explained at the wiki: http://www.group-office.com/wiki/Billin ... d_statuses

One last question (or answer) on the way to happiness.

How can we hide columns in the booking-pdf - for example the product-count and the single product-cost?
We are just selling services and the product-count defines the number of hours we have to spent on a job.
So we don´t want let our customers know, how much time we spend on their projects.

Thanks for your answer, Bonscho

You would have to modify the pdf output file to hide that column. If you upgrade to stable-13 from the shop then the modules/classes/pdf.class.inc.php file is open-source.
