I did find a paid version of ioncube for ARM. So it should work. Google on it, it's out there.

I have installed Group-Office community on my Raspberry PI and it works surprisingly well, although I do not think I would trust production data to be stored on the SD card alone....

I installed Raspbian latest and manually installed Apache, PHP and MySQL. Then ran the GO test script and installed all recommended dependencies.

It was a fun project and fascinating to realize that GO runs as a very capable CRM and groupware solution on a headless 25$ Raspberry PI powered by my cell phone charger. And it works equally well with 20K users, although then the hardware must be upped a bit :D

Hi Neven,

>step by step if possible

Step by step as in "unbox your Raspberry PI, format your SD card"...? That will be a bit too much at the moment.

Do you have latest Raspbian on your Pi and know how to SSH into it? You could follow:

Installing Apache, PHP and MySQL:
http://elinux.org/RPi_A_Simple_Wheezy_LAMP_install

I did not install tomcat6 and vsftpd

Manual install of Group-Office on a Linux server:
http://wiki4.group-office.com/wiki/Manu ... ac_systems

Run the test script. It will warn about missing dependencies. Use Google to find out how to install those on a Debian server.

You should also install php5-gd to get GO to display file thumbnails etc.

Hi,

I followed the Installation instruction but still stuck on installing ioncube. I followed the instructions from the wiki, but ioncube isn't loaded by php.

Here is, what my Pi gives out with php-v

Code: Select all

raceface2nd@Raspberry-Owncloud:~$ php -v
Failed loading /usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so: /usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
PHP 5.4.4-14+deb7u3 (cli) (built: Jul 18 2013 01:01:56)
Copyright (c) 1997-2012 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.4.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2012 Zend Technologies
And this is the Directory listing

Code: Select all

raceface2nd@Raspberry-Owncloud:/usr/local/ioncube$ ls
ioncube_loader_lin_4.1.so ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.1.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so LICENSE.txt
ioncube_loader_lin_4.2.so ioncube_loader_lin_4.4_ts.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.1_ts.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.3_ts.so loader-wizard.php
ioncube_loader_lin_4.3.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.0.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so README.txt
ioncube_loader_lin_4.3_ts.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.0_ts.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.2_ts.so ioncube_loader_lin_5.4_ts.so
Any tipps, how I can solve this problem? My Pi is running on Raspbian.

Did you check the Ioncube support forum? Perhaps you need a special build for it?

I couldn't find any helpful at the ioncube forum. Sometime ago there was a Special build for ARM devices, but the link is dead.

Does anybody know how to build ioncube for raspberry pi?
