Install Ticket System on other Server?

Hi there,

i am running Open Office as an Intranet-Application on a local server (192.168.x.x IP range). This server is not accessible from the internet, because of security reasons. I want to use the ticket system on a remote server (our Webserver) located in an external IT-Company.
Can i use and install the ticket System on a remote server, so that our customers can access the ticket system (and only that) and the tickets are imported to the intranet-system?

This is strange situation. How do you want reply customers tickets? Or how do you solve situation when someone create ticket in your intranet?

Simplest solution is buy two licenses + modify intranet system to sync data from/into remote ticketing system. This could cover all situation and you do not lose oportunity link ticket to contacts in intranet.

would that work with Files/Notes Comments etc?
And how should that work with "Contact & Responsible"?

It will work with any enpoint in GO or you can create custom module and work any model in GO. Also you can use external GO tickets page and do request with curl ...

This will be our main approach when we refactor the tickets module API. Web sites should talk with the API.

You can be done it by buying two different accounts and combining both by changing their network setting.
