The Scanbox module allows you to handle documents from a scanner. The scanbox checks a user folder every minute. You can configure the scanner to save files in the scanbox folder of the user. When a new file arrives you can choose from the following actions:

  1. E-mail the file
  2. Link the file to a contact, company project etc.
  3. Save the file

Install the module at Start menu -> Modules -> Install

The scanbox will scan the following folder:


Configure the scanner or any other device to put the files in that location. You can use FTP, WebDAV or another way of getting the files there.

Note: /home/groupoffice is the default location. This location is defined in $config['file_storage_path'].
