Kanban module
We’ve introduced a brand-new Kanban module to help you organize projects, tasks, and support tickets more efficiently.
Create boards with configurable sources and columns, then manage your workflow with simple drag-and-drop. The Kanban module provides a clear visual overview of work in progress across your organization.
Collabora Online open source
We are pleased to announce a partnership with Collabora to take the Group-Office and Collabora Online integration to the next level.
As part of this collaboration, the Collabora Online integration module has moved from the Business package to the open-source Community package. This change makes it easier for organizations to adopt both Group-Office and Collabora Online, while allowing independent verification of security, performance, and privacy.
A step-by-step tutorial on setting up this integration will be published on this blog soon.
Time approval
The Projects module already included time tracking, and in Group-Office 26.0 we’ve extended this with time approval.
Managers can now easily review, approve, or reject time entries submitted by their colleagues, making it easier to manage hours and maintain accurate project reporting.
Forms module (beta)
Group-Office 26.0 introduces a new Forms module, currently in beta.
You can create custom forms, define questions, and assign recipients. Forms can be distributed via email, and once a form is closed, the results can be exported to a spreadsheet for further analysis.
Support Module
We received feedback from our users that it would be helpful to be able to support customers without the need for them to have a user account. This is now possible.
Modules Modernized
Modernization continues behind the scenes as well. In this release, the Notes, Bookmarks, and Comments modules have been rewritten using the new GOUI framework, improving consistency, performance, and maintainability.
